Little Angelina has gone to be with Jesus: A message from Pastor Jon:

Sometimes there are no right words to say. That is how I feel now. At 1:56 p.m. Monday afternoon, Angelina passed away. It is certainly not the end of that any of us were hoping for. I don't know why things happen as they do. And I certainly cannot understand this.

Our only comfort is the goodness of God and the promises he has made. In Isaiah 25:6-8 God says,

"On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare

    a feast of rich food for all peoples,

a banquet of aged wine—

    the best of meats and the finest of wines.

   On this mountain he will destroy

    the shroud that enfolds all peoples,

the sheet that covers all nations;

   he will swallow up death forever.

The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears

    from all faces;

he will remove his people’s disgrace

    from all the earth.

The Lord has spoken."

One day death will be swallowed up forever and there will be no more tears. Today is not that day. But that day is coming. Thank you all for your prayers. Please continue to pray for Angelina's family. God bless you all.
